This is great for large and small breeds (we have both). There are no "knuckles" that get left over have the rawhide bones are chewed. The added surfaces of the braid make it easy for dogs to grab on to and chew. Aids in the prevention of plaque and tartar and gives teething dogs something appropriate to chew on.
